Training session of the Courts of Peace Observers
Monitoring of the courts of peace demands that monitoring executers “on the ground” – the court observers – were highly professional with a broad range of knowledge and life skills. Therefore before the commence of the monitoring in Perm region the Institute of Law and Public Policy together with “Agency Expertiza” and Fund “Civil Position” organized a training with twenty primary selected court observers. A session was opened by Lyubov Ezhova, a team leader of the Project, Olga Tsodikovich, deputy chair of the Judiciary Council of Perm Region and Marina Agaltsova, Project coordinator.

Ведущие тренинга – эксперты Института Крис Фрост, Мартин Седдон и Анна Шиловская поставили следующие цели: развить навыков групповой работы с подростками у специалистов учреждений города Москвы;
Focus group with the Justice of Peace, 25 February 2010, Perm

Project implementation
on 25 February 2010 in Perm a focus group with Justices of Peace (JP) and court stuff was convened. Nine JPs and ten secretaries of the court participated in the focus group. The participants came from the districts where the legal aid centers were opened. Session was commenced by Olga Sidorovich (director of the Project) and Vladimir Velyaninov (President of Perm Regional Court) and Irina Bochenkova (President of Judicial Council in perm Region).
The Highest Justice Award “Femida” for the year 2009
On 13th February, 2010 The Annual Highest Justice Award “Femida” was presented during the 14th award ceremony under the slogan “"Salus populi suprema lex esto" ("Let the good of the people be the supreme law"). Co-organizers of this award are Association of the Russian Lawyers and Moscow Club of Lawyers.
