“Monitoring of Constitutional Processes in Russia” – analytical bulletin №1 (1) 2011

In the framework of Institute of Law and Public Policy project «Twenty years of democratic way: Strengthening the Constitutional Order in Today’s Russia» the first issue of analytical bulletin «Monitoring of Constitutional Processes in Russia» (Download in PDF) has come out. The project supposes carrying out independent and impartial constitutional monitoring performed by the group of Russian experts, young as well as recognized, with the assistance of the international group of consultants. The subject of the monitoring is the implementation of fundamental constitutional principles in legislation and legal practice.

The first issue of the bulletin is devoted to the discussion of the methodology of the monitoring itself, and to the main problems of the implementing the principle of democracy in the context of people’s sovereignty, political pluralism and political competition in Russia. (Download in PDF).
