Convocation of the Working Group of Coordination Board Project “Access to Justice”

On the 1st of July the Institute of Law and Public Policy convened a working group of the Coordination Board, which is responsible for the strategic management of the Project on access to justice. Among the key participants of the session were: Tatyana Margolina, Ombudsman of Perm Region, Vladimir Valyaninov, President of the Perm Regional Court, Igor Orlov, Minister of Public Security of Perm Region, Olga Tsodikovich, Deputy Chair of the Judiciary Council of Perm Region, Larisa Soboleva, Assistant to the President of Perm Regional Court, Olga Sidorovich, Director of the Institute of Law and Public Policy, and Project experts.

The agenda of the session included: Project implementation, management of the established legal aid centers and their subsequent institutionalization, interdependence between legal aid centers, courts, state and municipal bodies, results of the monitoring (performed within the second component of the Project), and organization of the conference on foreign juvenile justice experience in Perm region in February, 2011.
